An interesting cell phone we had the chance to review is the AT&T 8525, a phone that was designed to rival the mobile phone market. Measuring only 113 x 58 x 22 mm while weighting only 176 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The AT&T 8525 is equipped with an interesting camera of 2.0 MP / Flash / Video Recorder. This phone arrives with a 1350 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 4.00 hours and gives in standby 200 hours. Its engineers included a 51.0 MB memory, a good quantity a normal use! A cool thing of the AT&T 8525 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 240 x 320 px.
If you like phones that uses skins you will be happy the 8525 supports custom themes. The game collection included in the AT&T 8525 is running on J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! Not surprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the 8525 enables both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The text prediction system uses the Handwriting Recognition technology, being very easy to use. The 8525 supports streaming media based on the Windows Media Player technology.
The High speed data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE / UMTS / HSDPA technology. The 8525 has an infrared port for wireless communication. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to exchange ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the AT&T 8525 to be a very interesting cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
