An admirable cell phone we had the chance to test is the Audiovox PM-8920 (CDM-8920), a phone that was conceived to compete the mobile phone market. Launched around 01/7/2004 the PM-8920 (CDM-8920) supports the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Being of size 86 x 47 x 23 mm while weighting only 110 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Audiovox PM-8920 (CDM-8920) comes with an interesting camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 960 px / 8X Zoom / Flash / Macro / Multi-Shot / Self-Timer. It comes with a Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 3.50 hours and lasts in standby around 168 hours.
Its creators incorporated a 8 MB memory, enough for a regular use! A cool thing of the Audiovox PM-8920 (CDM-8920) is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 128 x 160 px. Audiovox has equipped its PM-8920 (CDM-8920) with a 32 chords ringtone player, ready for you to add many ringtones. The gaming engine Audiovox PM-8920 (CDM-8920) runs on BREW / J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! The phone has a calendar which is very easy to use and Audiovox included a phone book having a contact list capacity of 300.
The prediction text tool is based on the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer uses the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer information. We conclude believing the Audiovox PM-8920 (CDM-8920) to be an awesome cell phone and we would recommend it to anyone interested in a good phone!
