This cell phone comes with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 3.75 hours and gives in standby 163 hours. Its engineers included a 32 MB memory, enough for a regular use! Summing to its internal memory external memory can be added of format miniSD memory cards.
A cool thing of the LG VX8100 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 176 x 220 px. LG has designed its VX8100 with a 72 chords ringtone player, making a great phone for you to add a lot of ringtones. If you like skinnable phones you will be happy the VX8100 enables custom. The game collection included in the LG VX8100 runs on BREW / 3D Gaming, supporting fun little games! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the VX8100 supports both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very intuitive and LG provided a phone book with a capacity of 500. The text prediction system exploits the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The VX8100 is supporting streaming media of type exploiting the VCAST technology.
The data transfer is using the cdma2000 1xEV-DO technology. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange data between both systems. We have found the LG VX8100 to be a great cell phone and we would recommend it to someone in search of a good phone!
