LG VX9800 review
An admirable cell phone we had the chance to review is the LG VX9800, a phone that was designed to compete the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/7/2005 the VX9800 functions under the networks CDMA 800 / 1900. Being of size Sideways / Clamshell while weighting only 147 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The LG VX9800 is including a beautiful camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 960 px / 4X Zoom / Flash / Self-Timer / Video Recorder. The phone is equipped with a 1300 mAh Li-Polymer battery, enabling a talk time of 4.16 hours and provides in standby mode 199 hours. Its engineers included a 128 MB memory, just enough for a regular use! Adding to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with miniSD memory cards.
An interesting option of the LG VX9800 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The nice screen of this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 320 x 256 px. LG has modeled its VX9800 with a 72 chords ringtones engine, making a great phone for you to add several ringtones. If you like skinnable phones you will appreciate to know that the VX9800 supports custom themes.
The gaming system included in the LG VX9800 runs on BREW, having cool games to distract yourself! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the VX9800 enables both SMS and EMS. You also have MMS messages enabled to send pictures and any multimedia file! The calendar available is very intuitive and LG provided a phone book with a capacity of 500. The predictive text system is using the T9 technology, being very easy to use.
The VX9800 is supporting streaming media of type being based on the VCAST technology. The High speed data transfer uses the cdma2000 1xEV-DO technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We believe the LG VX9800 to be a great cell phone and we happily suggest it to you!
