Motorola A1000 review
A notable phone we had the chance to review is the Motorola A1000, a phone that was designed to compete this year's market. Released around 01/10/2004 the A1000 works under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 / WCDMA 2100. Measuring only 117 x 60 x 19 mm and having a weight of only 160 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The Motorola A1000 is equipped with a compact camera of 1.2 MP / 4X Zoom / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a 850 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 2.83 hours and gives in standby 250 hours. Its engineers included a 24 MB memory, a good quantity for your daily tasks! Adding to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with TransFlash memory cards.
An interesting option of the Motorola A1000 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The screen on this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 208 x 320 px. If you want a customizable phone you will be happy to know the A1000 has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Motorola A1000 runs on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the A1000 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The prediction text tool uses the iTAP technology, being very easy to use. This cell phone is using the GPRS (Class 10) technology. The A1000 is built with an infrared port for all your data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to share information. We believe the Motorola A1000 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
