Released around 01/4/2006 the C290 is supporting the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Measuring only 87 x 49 x 24 mm and weighting only 100 g, this item´s size will please its users. This phone arrives with a 1020 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 3.40 hours and gives in standby 168 hours. An interesting option of the Motorola C290 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! Motorola designed the C290 with a 32 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add tons of ringers.
The gaming system included in the Motorola C290 is running on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the C290 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging. You also have MMS messages enabled to send pictures and any multimedia file! The phone has a calendar which is very intuitive and Motorola provided a phone book having a contact list capacity of 100. The predictive text system is using the iTAP technology, being a top system for easy using.
The data transfer is using the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. We conclude believing the Motorola C290 to be a fantastic cell phone and we greatly encourage it to you!
