The phone is equipped with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 2.25 hours and provides in standby mode 60 hours. Its creators incorporated a 2 MB memory, just enough for a regular use! An interesting option of the Motorola i830 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 130 x 130 px.
Motorola has equipped its i830 with a 16 chords ringtone player, making a great phone for you to add several ringtones. The gaming engine Motorola i830 is running on J2ME, providing cool little games! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the i830 enables both SMS and EMS. It also supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The phone has a calendar which is very easy to use and Motorola included a phone book enabling a contact list of 600.
