Motorola i836 review
A notable phone we had the chance to test is the Motorola i836, a phone that was designed to revolutionize a very competitive market. Launched around 01/4/2005 the i836 supports the networks iDEN 800 / 900. Having a dimension of only 86 x 48 x 20 mm and having a weight of only 102 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. This cell phone comes with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 2.25 hours and provides in standby mode 60 hours. A cool thing of the Motorola i836 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 130 x 130 px.
Motorola built the i836 with a 16 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add many ringtones. If you like skinnable phones you will be happy the i836 has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Motorola i836 is based on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the i836 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging. You also have MMS messages enabled to send all your multimedia messages! The calendar available is well designed and Motorola equipped it with a phone book having a capacity of 600.
The text prediction system uses the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer data between both systems. We have found the Motorola i836 to be a very interesting cell phone and we greatly encourage it to you!
