Motorola i860 review
A great phone we had the chance to test is the Motorola i860, a cell phone that has been created to compete a very competitive market. Launched around 01/10/2004 the i860 supports the networks iDEN 800. Measuring only 88 x 50 x 26 mm and having a weight of only 135 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The Motorola i860 is including a nice little camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 4X Zoom / Flash / Self-Timer / Video Recorder. This phone arrives with a 750 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 2.75 hours and lasts in standby around 65 hours. Its creators added a 1.8 MB memory, enough a normal use! A cool thing of the Motorola i860 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 176 x 220 px.
Motorola has modeled its i860 with a 16 chords capable ringtones, ready for you to add several ringtones. If you like skinnable phones you will be happy to know the i860 supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the Motorola i860 runs on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the i860 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very easy to use and Motorola included a phone book enabling a contact list of 600. The text prediction tool is based on the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the Motorola i860 to be a fantastic cell phone and we happily suggest it to our readers!
