A great phone we had the chance to review is the Motorola i870, a cell phone that has been created to revolutionize the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/10/2005 the i870 supports the networks iDEN 800. Being of size 88 x 49 x 26 mm and weighting only 128 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. The Motorola i870 comes with a nice little camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 1024 px / 4X Zoom / Flash / Self-Timer / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 2.75 hours and lasts in standby around 70 hours. Its engineers included a 32 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Adding to its internal memory external memory can be added of format microSD / TransFlash memory cards.
A cool thing of the Motorola i870 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets you insert wallpapers of 176 x 220 px. The game collection included in the Motorola i870 is based on J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the i870 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very intuitive and Motorola equipped it with a phone book having a contact list capacity of 600.
The text prediction tool exploits the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. This cell phone uses the WiDEN technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to share information. We conclude believing the Motorola i870 to be a fantastic cell phone and we would recommend it to someone in search of a good phone!
