Motorola MPx review
A notable phone we have evaluated is the Motorola MPx, a phone that was conceived to rival the mobile phone market. Released around 01/1/2005 the MPx is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 100 x 61 x 24 mm while weighting only 183 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. The Motorola MPx is including a nice little camera of 1.2 MP / 1280 x 960 px / 4X Zoom / Flash / Multi-Shot / Self-Timer. It comes with a 980 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 3.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 103 hours. Its creators incorporated a 15 MB memory, a good quantity for a regular use! Adding to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with SD / MMC memory cards.
An attractive option of the Motorola MPx is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 320 x 240 px. If you like phones that uses skins you will appreciate the fact that the MPx supports custom themes. The gaming engine Motorola MPx is running on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the MPx supports both SMS and EMS.
You also have MMS messages enabled to send all your multimedia messages! The predictive text system exploits the Transcriber technology, which is very easy to use. The MPx does support streaming media based on the Windows Media Player technology. This cell phone is using the GPRS (Class 10) technology. The MPx has an infrared port for data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc.
We have found the Motorola MPx to be a great cell phone and we greatly encourage it to our readers!
