An extraordinary mobile phone we had the chance to test is the Motorola PEBL U6, a phone that was designed to rival this year's market. Launched around 01/1/2006 the PEBL U6 works under the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 87 x 49 x 20 mm while weighting only 110 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The Motorola PEBL U6 is including an interesting camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 4X Zoom / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a 820 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 4.00 hours and lasts in standby around 180 hours. Its creators added a 5.0 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! A cool thing of the Motorola PEBL U6 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone lets installation of wallpapers of 176 x 220 px.
Motorola has equipped its PEBL U6 with a 24 chords ringtone ringer, making a great phone for you to add all the ringtones you wish. If you want a customizable phone you will be happy the PEBL U6 has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Motorola PEBL U6 is based on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the PEBL U6 supports both SMS and EMS.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is well designed and Motorola included a phone book enabling a contact list of 1000. The text prediction system is based on the iTAP technology, being very easy to use. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) technology.
