Motorola V400 review
A fantastic cell phone we had the chance to review is the Motorola V400, a phone that was conceived to revolutionize this year's market. Released around 01/1/2004 the V400 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 89 x 48 x 25 mm and weighting only 123 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Motorola V400 is including a nice little camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / Self-Timer. This phone arrives with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 7.00 hours and provides in standby mode 220 hours. Its creators added a 5 MB memory, a good quantity for a regular use! A cool thing of the Motorola V400 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 176 x 220 px.
Motorola built the V400 with a 24 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add many ringtones. If you like phones that uses skins you will appreciate to know that the V400 supports custom themes. The game collection included in the Motorola V400 is running on J2ME, providing cool little games! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the V400 supports both SMS and EMS.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The phone has a calendar which is well designed and Motorola included a phone book with a capacity of 1000. The text prediction tool is using the iTAP technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We conclude believing the Motorola V400 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we happily suggest it to anyone interested in a good phone!
