Being of size 108 x 46 x 15 mm and having a weight of only 74 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Nokia 1680 Classic comes with a compact camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / Zoom / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 4.00 hours and lasts in standby around 432 hours. Its creators added a 32.0 MB memory, just enough for a regular use! An attractive option of the Nokia 1680 Classic is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 128 x 160 px.
Nokia has created its 1680 Classic with a 24 chords ringtone ringer, ready for you to add tons of ringers. If you like skinnable phones you will appreciate to know that the 1680 Classic supports custom themes. The game collection included in the Nokia 1680 Classic runs on J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the 1680 Classic offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
You also have MMS messages enabled to send pictures and clips! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is well designed and Nokia included a phone book having a contact list capacity of 1000. The predictive text system is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share information.
