An admirable cell phone we had the chance to test is the Nokia 3100, a cell phone that has been created to compete the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/10/2003 the 3100 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 102 x 43 x 15 mm and weighting only 85 g, this phone has a perfect design. This phone arrives with a 850 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 6.00 hours and lasts in standby around 410 hours. Its engineers included a 450 KB memory, a good quantity a normal use! An attractive option of the Nokia 3100 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The nice screen of this cell phone lets installation of wallpapers of 128 x 128 px.
Nokia created the 3100 with a 16 chords capable ringtones, making a great phone for you to add a lot of ringtones. The game collection included in the Nokia 3100 is based on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the 3100 has support for both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very easy to use and Nokia provided a phone book enabling a contact list of 300.
The prediction text tool uses the T9 technology, being very easy to use. This cell phone uses the GPRS (Class 6) technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We conclude believing the Nokia 3100 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to someone in search of a good phone!
