Nokia 6255i review
An admirable cell phone we had a look at is the Nokia 6255i, a phone that was designed to rival this year's market. Released around 01/4/2005 the 6255i supports the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 85 x 47 x 25 mm and having a weight of only 125 g, this phone has a perfect design. The Nokia 6255i also includes a nice little camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / 4X Zoom / Flash / Video Recorder. It comes with a 1070 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 3.20 hours and provides in standby mode 264 hours. Its creators added a 8.0 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with MMC memory cards.
A cool thing of the Nokia 6255i is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The nice screen of this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 128 x 160 px. Nokia built the 6255i with a 16 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add all the ringtones you wish. The gaming system included in the Nokia 6255i is running on BREW, having cool games to distract yourself! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the 6255i enables both SMS and EMS.
It also supports MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very intuitive and Nokia provided a phone book having a capacity of 500. The text prediction tool uses the T9 technology, being very easy to use. This cell phone is using the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. The 6255i comes with an infrared port for wireless data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc.
We believe the Nokia 6255i to be a great cell phone and we greatly encourage it to anyone interested in a good phone!
