The phone is equipped with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 3.00 hours and lasts in standby around 240 hours. Its engineers included a 18.0 MB memory, enough for a regular use! A cool thing of the Nokia 6600 Slide is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 240 x 320 px.
Nokia designed the 6600 Slide with a 64 chords ringtone player, making a great phone for you to add many ringtones. If you love to skin your phone you will be happy to know the 6600 Slide has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Nokia 6600 Slide runs on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the 6600 Slide enables both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The 6600 Slide is supporting streaming media of type using the H.264 / MPEG-4 technology. The data transfer uses the WCDMA technology.
