Nokia 6600 review
An interesting cell phone we had the chance to review is the Nokia 6600, a cell phone that has been created to compete this year's market. Launched around 01/10/2003 the 6600 supports the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 109 x 58 x 24 mm while weighting only 122 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Nokia 6600 comes with a compact camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / Portrait Mode / Night Mode / 2X Zoom. The phone is equipped with a 850 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 4.00 hours and lasts in standby around 240 hours. Its creators added a 6 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Adding to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with MMC memory cards.
An interesting option of the Nokia 6600 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The nice screen of this cell phone lets installation of wallpapers of 176 x 208 px. If you want a customizable phone you will appreciate to know that the 6600 has customizable themes enabled. The game collection included in the Nokia 6600 is based on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the 6600 enables both SMS and EMS.
It also supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The predictive text system exploits the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The 6600 does support streaming media based on the RealMedia / 3GPP technology. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 6) technology. The 6600 includes an infrared port for wireless data transfer. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to transfer information.
We conclude believing the Nokia 6600 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to you!
