Nokia 7280 review
A fantastic cell phone we had the chance to review is the Nokia 7280, a phone that was designed to compete a very competitive market. Launched around 01/1/2005 the 7280 supports the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 115 x 32 x 19 mm and having a weight of only 84 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. The Nokia 7280 is equipped with a nice little camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px. The phone is equipped with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 3.00 hours and lasts in standby around 240 hours. Its creators incorporated a 50 MB memory, just enough a normal use! An attractive option of the Nokia 7280 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 208 x 104 px.
Nokia has equipped its 7280 with a 40 chords ringtone ringer, making a great phone for you to add several ringtones. If you want a customizable phone you will be happy to know the 7280 has customizable themes enabled. Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the 7280 enables both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The phone has a calendar which is well designed and Nokia equipped it with a phone book having a contact list capacity of 1000.
The predictive text system is based on the eZiText technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. The 7280 is also equipped with an infrared port for wireless data transfer. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange data between both systems.
We have found the Nokia 7280 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
