Nokia 9500 review
An interesting cell phone we had the chance to test is the Nokia 9500, a phone that was designed to compete a very competitive market. Unveiled around 01/1/2005 the 9500 functions under the networks GSM 850 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 148 x 57 x 24 mm and having a weight of only 230 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. The Nokia 9500 comes with a powerful camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / Video Recorder. This cell phone comes with a 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 5.00 hours and lasts in standby around 250 hours. Its creators incorporated a 80 MB memory, a good quantity for your daily tasks! Adding to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with MMC memory cards.
An interesting option of the Nokia 9500 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 640 x 200 px. Nokia has designed its 9500 with a 24 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add several ringtones. The gaming system included in the Nokia 9500 runs on J2ME, providing cool little games! Not surprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the 9500 has support for both SMS and EMS.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The 9500 does support streaming media exploiting the RealVideo / MPEG-4 / H.263 technology. The High speed data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. The 9500 uses an infrared port for data transfer. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc.
We have found the Nokia 9500 to be a great cell phone and we would recommend it to anyone interested in a good phone!
