Nokia N71 review
An interesting cell phone we had the chance to review is the Nokia N71, a cell phone that has been created to rival a very competitive market. Released around 01/4/2006 the N71 is supporting the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 / WCDMA 2100. Measuring only 99 x 51 x 26 mm and having a weight of only 139 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The Nokia N71 is including a beautiful camera of Dual Cameras / 2.0 MP / 0.3 MP / 1600 x 1200 px / 20X Zoom / Flash / Video Recorder. This phone arrives with a 970 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 4.00 hours and provides in standby mode 216 hours.
Its creators incorporated a 10 MB memory, enough a normal use! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with miniSD memory cards. A cool thing of the Nokia N71 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 320 x 240 px. Nokia has designed its N71 with a 64 chords ringtone player, making a great phone for you to add many ringtones. If you want a customizable phone you will be happy the N71 enables custom. The game collection included in the Nokia N71 is running on J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the N71 supports both SMS and EMS.
Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The N71 does support streaming media based on the RealPlayer / 3GPP / H.263 Video / MPEG-4 / AMR technology. This cell phone uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE / WCDMA technology.
The N71 is built with an infrared port for wireless communication. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We have found the Nokia N71 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to anyone interested in a good phone!
