An admirable cell phone we had a look at is the Palm Treo 600 (GSM), a phone that was designed to compete this year's market. Unveiled around 01/10/2003 the Treo 600 (GSM) works under the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 112 x 60 x 22 mm while weighting only 168 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Palm Treo 600 (GSM) also includes a powerful camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px. This phone arrives with a 1800 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 6.00 hours and gives in standby 240 hours. Its creators added a 24 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with SD / MMC memory cards.
An interesting option of the Palm Treo 600 (GSM) is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 160 x 160 px. Palm has equipped its Treo 600 (GSM) with a 16 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add all the ringtones you wish. The game collection included in the Palm Treo 600 (GSM) runs on Palm OS, having cool games to distract yourself! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the Treo 600 (GSM) supports both SMS and EMS.
Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and clips! The phone includes a calendar which is well designed and Palm included a phone book with a capacity of 600. The High speed data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) technology. The Treo 600 (GSM) includes an infrared port for data transfer. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share information.
