This phone arrives with a 960 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 4.00 hours and lasts in standby around 384 hours. Its engineers included a 64 MB memory, a good quantity for a regular use! A cool thing of the RIM BlackBerry 8700c is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The screen on this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 320 x 240 px.
RIM designed the BlackBerry 8700c with a 32 chords capable ringtones, ready for you to add many ringtones. The gaming system included in the RIM BlackBerry 8700c is running on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the BlackBerry 8700c enables both SMS and EMS. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The text prediction system is based on the T9 technology, which is very easy to use.
The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to transfer data between both systems. We have found the RIM BlackBerry 8700c to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to our readers!
