Samsung SCH-A790 (IP-A790) review
A special phone we had a look at is the Samsung SCH-A790 (IP-A790), a phone that was designed to compete the mobile phone market. Released around 01/7/2004 the SCH-A790 (IP-A790) functions under the networks CDMA 800 / 1900 / GSM 900 / 1800. Having a dimension of only 86 x 51 x 25 mm and weighting only 119 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The Samsung SCH-A790 (IP-A790) also includes an interesting camera of 0.3 MP / 640 x 480 px / Flash / Self-Timer. This cell phone comes with a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 4.70 hours and lets in standby mode about 145 hours.
Its creators incorporated a 10 MB memory, just enough a normal use! The large screen lets installation of wallpapers of 176 x 220 px. The gaming engine Samsung SCH-A790 (IP-A790) runs on BREW, which supports many fun games! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the SCH-A790 (IP-A790) enables both SMS and EMS. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The calendar available is very intuitive and Samsung equipped it with a phone book with a capacity of 500. The text prediction tool exploits the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool.
The High speed data transfer uses the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange data between both systems. We finish by believing the Samsung SCH-A790 (IP-A790) to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we would recommend it to our readers!
