A notable phone we have experimented is the Samsung SCH-I730, a cell phone that has been created to rival this year's market. Released around 01/7/2005 the SCH-I730 is supporting the networks CDMA 800 / 1900. Being of size 114 x 58 x 25 mm and having a weight of only 183 g, this phone is just the perfect size. This phone arrives with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 2.20 hours and lasts in standby around 130 hours. Its creators incorporated a 128 MB memory, enough for a regular use! Summing to its internal memory you can increase it with external memory with SD / MMC memory cards.
A cool thing of the Samsung SCH-I730 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 320 px. If you want a customizable phone you will like to know the SCH-I730 has customizable themes enabled. The gaming engine Samsung SCH-I730 is running on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the SCH-I730 supports both SMS and EMS. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The predictive text system uses the T9 technology, which is very easy to use.
The SCH-I730 is supporting streaming media of type using the Windows Media Player technology. This cell phone is using the 1xEV-DO technology. The SCH-I730 is also equipped with an infrared port for data transfer. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We believe the Samsung SCH-I730 to be an awesome cell phone and we would recommend it to someone in search of a good phone!
