Samsung SCH-I830 review
A great phone we had the chance to review is the Samsung SCH-I830, a phone that was designed to revolutionize this year's market. Launched around 01/4/2006 the SCH-I830 functions under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Measuring only 132 x 71 x 15 mm while weighting only 183 g, this phone has a perfect design. The phone is equipped with a Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 3.50 hours and provides in standby mode 180 hours. Its engineers included a 128 MB memory, a good quantity for your daily tasks! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with MMC / SD memory cards.
A cool thing of the Samsung SCH-I830 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 240 x 320 px. If you like skinnable phones you will like to know the SCH-I830 enables custom. The gaming system included in the Samsung SCH-I830 runs on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the SCH-I830 supports both SMS and EMS. Adding to that it supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The text prediction system exploits the Handwriting Recognition technology, being very easy to use.
The SCH-I830 does support streaming media using the Windows Media Player technology. This cell phone uses the cdma2000 1xEV-DO technology. The SCH-I830 is built with an infrared port for wireless data transfer. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share data between both systems.
