A special phone we had the chance to review is the Samsung SGH-P730, a phone that was conceived to rival this year's market. Launched around 01/7/2004 the SGH-P730 works under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Having a dimension of only 94 x 45 x 25 mm while weighting only 123 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Samsung SGH-P730 is equipped with a compact camera of 1 MP / 4X Zoom / Multi-Shot / Self-Timer / Video Recorder. The phone is equipped with a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 3.20 hours and gives in standby 103 hours. Its engineers included a 64 MB memory, just enough for your daily tasks! Adding to its internal memory external memory can be added of format RS-MMC memory cards.
The nice screen of this cell phone lets installation of wallpapers of 176 x 220 px. Samsung has equipped its SGH-P730 with a 64 chords ringtone ringer, making a great phone for you to add all the ringtones you wish. The gaming engine Samsung SGH-P730 runs on 3D Java / J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the SGH-P730 enables both SMS and EMS. You also have MMS messages enabled to send pictures and any multimedia file! The phone has a calendar which is well designed and Samsung provided a phone book with a capacity of 1000.
The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The High speed data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The SGH-P730 uses an infrared port for data transfer. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange data between both systems.
