Samsung SGH-S300 review
An interesting cell phone we had the chance to test is the Samsung SGH-S300, a phone that was designed to rival the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/1/2003 the SGH-S300 functions under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 80 x 40 x 20 mm and weighting only 70 g, this phone is just the perfect size. This cell phone comes with a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery, enough to talk for about 5.00 hours and provides in standby mode 110 hours. The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 128 x 128 px. Samsung has modeled its SGH-S300 with a 40 chords capable ringtones, ready for you to add many ringtones.
The gaming system included in the Samsung SGH-S300 runs on J2ME, providing cool games to play with! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the SGH-S300 enables both SMS and EMS. The cell phone comes with a calendar which is very intuitive and Samsung provided a phone book with a capacity of 500. The text prediction tool exploits the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The High speed data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The SGH-S300 is built with an infrared port for data transfer.
We finish by believing the Samsung SGH-S300 to be a very interesting cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
