Samsung SGH-T809 review
An extraordinary mobile phone we had the chance to review is the Samsung SGH-T809, a phone that was conceived to compete this year's market. Released around 01/10/2005 the SGH-T809 is supporting the networks GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 99 x 51 x 15 mm and weighting only 95 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. The Samsung SGH-T809 comes with an interesting camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 1024 px / 8X Zoom / Multi-Shot / Video Recorder. This phone arrives with a 800 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 4.30 hours and lets in standby mode about 130 hours. Its engineers included a 70 MB memory, enough a normal use! Adding to its internal memory external memory can be added of format microSD / TransFlash memory cards.
A cool thing of the Samsung SGH-T809 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The nice screen of this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 320 px. If you like skinnable phones you will appreciate the fact that the SGH-T809 supports custom themes. The gaming system included in the Samsung SGH-T809 is running on J2ME, having cool little games to play with! Unsurprisingly, being a standard in the industry, the SGH-T809 supports both SMS and EMS.
You also have MMS messages enabled to send all multimedia files! The phone includes a calendar which is well designed and Samsung included a phone book enabling a contact list of 1000. The text prediction system is using the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 10) / EDGE technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share information.
