Samsung SGH-V200 review
An admirable cell phone we had the chance to review is the Samsung SGH-V200, a phone that was conceived to rival this year's market. Launched around 01/1/2003 the SGH-V200 functions under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 91 x 47 x 23 mm and having a weight of only 96 g, this item's size will satisfy its most skeptic users. The Samsung SGH-V200 is including an interesting camera of 0.1 MP / 352 x 288 px / Rotate / Self-Timer. The phone is equipped with a 850 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 4.00 hours and gives in standby 110 hours. Its creators incorporated a 3 MB memory, enough a normal use! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 128 x 128 px.
Samsung designed the SGH-V200 with a 40 chords ringtones engine, ready for you to add tons of ringers. Unsurprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the SGH-V200 supports both SMS and EMS. It also supports MMS messaging to send pictures and any multimedia file! The calendar available is very easy to use and Samsung equipped it with a phone book enabling a contact list of 500. The predictive text system exploits the T9 technology, which is very easy to use.
This cell phone uses the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The SGH-V200 is built with an infrared port for wireless data transfer. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange information. We conclude believing the Samsung SGH-V200 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we greatly encourage it to someone in search of a good phone!
