Sanyo MM-5600 review
An interesting cell phone we had a look at is the Sanyo MM-5600, a phone that was conceived to rival the mobile phone market. Unveiled around 01/1/2005 the MM-5600 is supporting the networks AMPS 800 / CDMA 800 / 1900. Measuring only 93 x 49 x 26 mm and having a weight of only 128 g, this item´s size will please its users. The Sanyo MM-5600 comes with a beautiful camera of 1.3 MP / 1280 x 960 px / Flash / Macro / Multi-Shot / Self-Timer / Video Recording. The phone is equipped with a 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 3.40 hours and lasts in standby around 252 hours. Its creators added a 3 MB memory, just enough a normal use! Summing to its internal memory you can augment it with external memory with miniSD memory cards.
A cool thing of the Sanyo MM-5600 is the speaker phone, being a useful tool anywhere! The large screen lets setting a wallpaper of 240 x 320 px. Sanyo has equipped its MM-5600 with a 72 chords ringtone ringer, making a great phone for you to add tons of ringers. The gaming engine Sanyo MM-5600 is based on J2ME, having cool games to distract yourself! Unsurprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the MM-5600 offers both services EMS and SMS messaging.
It also supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is well designed and Sanyo equipped it with a phone book with a capacity of 300. The predictive text system is based on the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The High speed data transfer is using the cdma2000 1xRTT technology. Connection to a computer is supported with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc.
We have found the Sanyo MM-5600 to be an awesome cell phone and we would recommend it to someone in search of a good phone!
