Siemens A60 review
A great phone we had the chance to review is the Siemens A60, a cell phone that has been created to rival the mobile phone market. Launched around 01/10/2003 the A60 is supporting the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Being of size 110 x 47 x 23 mm while weighting only 85 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The phone is equipped with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery, letting a talk time of 5.00 hours and lasts in standby around 250 hours. Its creators added a 550 KB memory, enough a normal use! The nice screen of this cell phone lets you insert wallpapers of 101 x 80 px. Siemens built the A60 with a 16 chords capable ringtones, ready for you to add many ringtones.
Not surprisingly, being standard in all cell phone, the A60 enables both SMS and EMS. The text prediction system is based on the T9 technology, which is renowned as a good tool. The data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The phone may be connected to a computer with a cable to transfer ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We conclude believing the Siemens A60 to be an awesome cell phone and we would recommend it to you!
