A notable phone we have evaluated is the Siemens M56, a phone that was conceived to compete this year's market. Unveiled around 01/4/2003 the M56 works under the networks GSM 850 / 1900. Being of size 101 x 46 x 21 mm and weighting only 83 g, this cell phone makes an interesting tool. This phone arrives with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery, enabling a talk time of 5.00 hours and provides in standby mode 250 hours. Its creators added a 1.6 MB memory, enough for your daily tasks! An interesting option of the Siemens M56 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The large screen is capable of setting wallpapers of 101 x 80 px.
Siemens created the M56 with a 16 chords capable ringtones, making a great phone for you to add tons of ringers. The gaming system included in the Siemens M56 is running on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Unsurprisingly, as it is available in all cell phones nowadays, the M56 has support for both SMS and EMS. Additionally it has MMS messaging to send all your multimedia messages! The phone includes a calendar which is very easy to use and Siemens equipped it with a phone book having a capacity of 500.
The text prediction tool exploits the T9 technology, being very easy to use. The High speed data transfer is using the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The M56 has been designed with an infrared port for data transfer. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to exchange data between both systems. We have found the Siemens M56 to be a very attractive companion cell phone and we greatly encourage it to you!
