An interesting cell phone we had the chance to review is the Siemens MC60, a phone that was conceived to compete this year's market. Unveiled around 01/7/2003 the MC60 is supporting the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 109 x 46 x 21 mm and weighting only 86 g, this phone is just the perfect size. The Siemens MC60 is including a beautiful camera of 0.1 MP / 352 x 288 px. The phone is equipped with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 5.00 hours and lets in standby mode about 250 hours. Its creators added a 1 MB memory, enough for your daily tasks! An attractive option of the Siemens MC60 is the speaker phone, which is useful in the car for example! The screen on this cell phone lets setting a wallpaper of 101 x 80 px.
Siemens has created its MC60 with a 16 chords capable ringtones, making a great phone for you to add several ringtones. The gaming system included in the Siemens MC60 is based on J2ME, supporting fun little games! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the MC60 enables both SMS and EMS. You also have MMS messages enabled to send all multimedia files! The cell phone comes with a calendar which is well designed and Siemens provided a phone book having a contact list capacity of 100.
The text prediction system is based on the T9 technology, being a top system for easy using. The High speed data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 8) technology. Connection to a computer is possible with a cable to share ringtones, wallpapers, etc. We conclude believing the Siemens MC60 to be a very interesting cell phone and we happily suggest it to you!
