Siemens S55 review
An admirable cell phone we had the chance to review is the Siemens S55, a phone that was conceived to revolutionize this year's market. Launched around 01/10/2002 the S55 works under the networks GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900. Measuring only 101 x 42 x 18 mm while weighting only 85 g, this phone is just the perfect size. This phone arrives with a 700 mAh Li-Ion battery which lets you talk for about 6.00 hours and lasts in standby around 300 hours. Its creators incorporated a 1 MB memory, just enough a normal use! An attractive option of the Siemens S55 is the speaker phone, which is always useful in loud places! The nice screen of this cell phone is capable of setting wallpapers of 101 x 80 px.
Siemens built the S55 with a 16 chords ringtone player, making a great phone for you to add several ringtones. The game collection included in the Siemens S55 runs on J2ME, which supports many fun games! Not surprisingly, since it is now standard in all phones, the S55 enables both SMS and EMS. It also supports MMS messaging to send all multimedia files! The phone has a calendar which is very easy to use and Siemens included a phone book enabling a contact list of 500.
The prediction text tool uses the T9 technology, which is very easy to use. The data transfer uses the GPRS (Class 8) technology. The S55 is built with an infrared port for wireless communication. It can also be connected to a computer with a cable to share data between both systems. We finish by believing the Siemens S55 to be a fantastic cell phone and we greatly encourage it to you!
